Also featured for Mac OS X is A Tale in the Desert 4, by eGenesis and TransGaming, Inc. Features for the iPod Click-wheel include Lode Runner developed by Hudson Software Company and Real Soccer 2009 developed by Gameloft.

Black & White 2
“We learned a great deal from making Black & White,”
Molyneux observes.”We invited fans from around the world to contribute
to a post-mortem of the game, and we found that the biggest mistake we
made was that the player just didn’t feel powerful enough. He felt more
like an errand boy playing in a sandbox world, not a powerful god
affecting the lives of his people.
A Tale in the Desert 4
Telanoc, who has been a regular player since Tale II, elaborates: “The
game isn’t afraid to take chances with content. In Tale III, there was
a plague that was really controversial to many people, and it was
interesting how we dealt with it: some people buckled down to look for
a cure, some people tried to keep on going as if nothing had happened,
and others hid in their homes.”
Lode Runner
You have no time to wonder who you are or why you’re here. All you know
is that you must collect all the gold, avoid or trap the robots, and
head for the escape ladder that leads to the next level. Grabbing the
loot and evading your enemies isn’t that simple, however, because each
level is a maze of ladders and floors, and some of the gold can only be
obtained through strategic digging. You can lure the robots into holes
and bury them, although their replacements will soon appear. One touch
by a robot, or one fatal move into a hole, and you’ll have to start all
over again.
Real Soccer 2009
League play is just one of many options in Real Soccer 2009, where
you’ll find over 290 clubs and national teams, all of them featuring
real players from around the world. Compete in four cups, five national
leagues, and 10 club leagues as you collect 15 trophies to fill your
case. Set your strategy, including formation and offense/defense mix,
and play matches in stadiums located in San Paolo, Paris, Milan,
Manchester, Barcelona, Madrid, Berlin, Vienna, and London.

The Mac and iPhone developer’s booth featured several iPod touches
demonstrating their currently released titles as well as the
forthcoming Slotz Racer (which should be available in the next few weeks) in addition to a title that came as news to us: Days of Thunder.
Based on the 1990 film of the same name, Freeverse is developing Days of Thunder
for Paramount and tells me that the iPhone game brings the film’s
storyline along with the action. The accelerometer controlled game
features a variety of cars to choose from and both Circuit and Track
racing modes.
